Hola, Hello & Servus! I'm Sofia, the founder of SONRIZA. Originally from Ecuador, I now reside in Germany since 2011, long time. My passion is to connect the vibrant cultures of my both countries, continents through my brand and online store, SONRIZA.

SONRIZA born from the fusion of two Spanish words, "sonrisa" (smile) and "esperanza" (hope). Beyond a simple brand name, SONRIZA capture our philosophy that smiles possess the incredible ability to transcend cultures, break language barriers, connect people together. Through our handmade products, we strive to bridge the gaps between different cultures and celebrate the diversity that makes our world so amazing.

My main goal at SONRIZA is to generate employment opportunities for artisans, particularly women, and showcase their creations in Europe, and worldwide. Collaborating with skilled artisans and artists from Ecuador, I craft narratives around their products, drawing inspiration from Ecuador's nature and people. Additionally, we present you exquisite dark chocolate made from the finest Ecuadorian cocoa sourced from exotic regions.

Thanks to your support, SONRIZA also dedicates a portion of our sales to organizing workshops on menstrual health for women in need in Ecuador. This initiative is done in collaboration with NGOs, doctors, companies, and most importantly, YOU. With SONRIZA, we all speak the language of a smile.
